Praying for Tom Cruise
Stephen Baldwin says he is praying for Tom Cruise’s soul.

“On the Hollywood list of people I pray for often, Tom Cruise is probably No. 1,” the youngest of the Baldwin brothers told Radar Online. “I’d love to break bread with him and pray with him, and I’d love for the Holy Spirit of God to reveal the truth to him.”

Baldwin also says that Cruise is a “very different guy” from the person he was when they worked together on “Born on the Fourth of July.”

“That regular Joe quality seems to have been lost,” Says Baldwin. “When you buy enough of your own hype, then it’s not who you are anymore.”

The born-again Baldwin has written a book about spirituality, “The Unusual Suspect: My Calling to the New Hardcore Movement of Faith,” but when asked by Radar Online to name the Ten Commandments after much fumbling came up with only six. He was totally stumped when asked to name the seven deadly sins.

I Found this news clip over at msnbc.msn.com/id/14626179 while reading Lindsay Lohan is secretly married. Hah laugh at me now, but i think that lead me to this news clip about Stephen Baldwin and Tom Cruise.

I’m interested in Baldwin’s book, The Unusual Suspect: My Calling to the New Hardcore Movement of Faith, isnt the title great? Almost everyone that i know is just embracing, or yearning or going for this radical and intense Christian living.

What struck me again is when they measure your level of spirituality through the knowledge of the scriptures. I’ve experienced it, when i told my friends that im going to turn around and go back to where im supposed to be going. They always ask me about the ten commandments and the deadly sins etc. In my own opinion, its good to know these stuff, but to me, do you measure your relationship with Jesus through laws? Isnt he the one that drew the line that “You should love Me with all, and love your neighbor as you love yourself”. Because based on the walk im going, all of the commandments, and deadly sins are brushed aside when you follow the greatest commandment. Tantamount to the One Thing life (Psalms 27:4). It is through intimacy that we lock that gaze upon our Loved One, Jesus as we walk on water. And unconsciously follow the laws that we tend to forget… Again, is our level of spirituality measured through it?

To Mr. Baldwin, dont be stumped. Youre the man brother as you emulate the Man. I pray that you become an impact and take over that area where i believe light is needed. Impact…

SHAME ON ME!! I thought when i read that article b/c guess what :”I don’t know the 10 commandments” OUCH!!!

It is true that it is better to walk the talk than just talk only but ,oops!! that could be a bump in front of non-believers who use the knowledge of scripture to “weigh” christians…

its not that bad, its good to know them, i think it should just travel from the brain (knowledge) to the heart. its just like you know that cigarettes can kill but its so hard to really live it out…

well we were like that, too zealous and hyped with the revelation that Christ shared with us, i mean just imagine the #1 Man, Jesus, is lovesick towards us… who wouldnt want to share and learn most of it…

Its a journey that we all take hehe 🙂
What is the greatest commandment then? 🙂

Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love he Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (Matthew 22:36-40)

Yiiiiiiiipeeee!!! i got it! 🙂

Or did I????
yup, definitely, we have to talk and walk…You know, one thing that HUMBLES me is when i catch myself doing something I should not be doing and a non-believr sets me straight…that is when i really get the full impact of walking according to the world…it’s true, we all have blind spots, and accepting we are wrong is very important!!

True that!!! we’re all the same, we’re all insane hahaha like what i wrote in my new poem “words on sand”

hahaha same same, sometimes theres this status quo that we are “expected” to perform and stand on that podium… as for ourselves, we’re weak and only Christ can set us straight and strong… we go to strength to strength right? 🙂

It is by grace that we have the gas to call Abba, Father 🙂

I’m with Stephen Baldwin on this one. If there’s anybody who seriously needs Jesus Christ, it’s Tom Cruise. So does his new wife, Katie Holmes. Scientology is an evil, brainwashing cult! Being a Christian, I hope and pray that people such as Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, and everybody else caught up in this Scientology nonsense will finally see the light and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It’s not too late, people! As long as you are still living and breathing, it is not too late to become a Christian. Baptism won’t make you a Christian. Neither will doing good works. We become Christians simply by admitting to Christ that we are sinners, believing with all our heart and soul that He died for us on the cross and thanking Him for it, then asking Him to come into our hearts and be our Lord and Savior forever. Baptism is something that should be done AFTER you get saved, not BEFORE. The Bible says, “Repent and be baptized,” not “Be baptized and repent.”

Whenever I’m watching TV and I see people such as Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, John Travolta, Kelly Preston, Kirstie Alley, and other celebrities caught up in Scientology, I think about how they are on the wrong path, and how much happier they would be if they knew Jesus. As a Christian, I love Scientologists, but I hate Scientology. Even though I don’t know any of these people, I truly care about them and I hope that they will come to know the Lord and spend eternity in Heaven with Him.

Its just funny how these set of new beliefs could somehow fill up the void within us… wait, im going to post something about my recent feelings for i have been going up and down and whatnot during these blogging hiatus…

The world, is offering us cheap satisfactions, and somehow, cheap draws out cheap… i have become, as a matter of fact… in nature… i may be cheap…

while… deep cries out to deep…
